Abstract

Post files.-In a post file comprising interengaging pins and sockets secured on supporting plates, one of which is adapted to slide and turn relatively to the other, the fixed supporting plate is pivoted to the cover of the file so as to allow the sockets and pins to be brought to any desired angular position relatively to one another and to the cover. The sockets a are attached to an angle-shaped plate c, c<1>, which is pivoted to the cover d on hinges d<1>. A plate e is pivoted to the plate c<1> and is provided with side grooves e<1> which, with similar grooves c<2> on the plate c<1>, form guides for an angle-shaped sliding plate f , f<1> carrying the pins g. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the plate e may be dispensed with, and the plate f made in two pieces pivoted together; also, the sockets and pins may be replaced by pins which perforate the papers; this subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
