Moving-chamber appara tus.-Comprises a conveyer like construction of appara tus for delivering pulverulent or granular materia in measured quantities An inclined casing 1 is mounted on a base 2 and houses in side recesses two sprocket chains 6 forming a driving connection be tween sprockets 10 on upper and lower shafts 8, 8<1>. Covers 7 close the recesses in the casing. The bearings of the lower shaft 8<1> are adjustable to tension the sprocket chains. A bucket or buckets 14 is or are secured to the chains, a member 16 on the bucket being secured to a transverse rod 17 connecting the chains, a strut member 15 being provided to set the bucket in the desired angular position. The bucket is provided with a two-part false bottom, the part 20 being of sheet material, while the central and smaller part 21 is of thicker structure. The bottom may be moved to adjust the capacity of the bucket by means of a screw 23. Material from a hopper is fed into the casing at 4 and the bucket takes the material to the delivery shoot 3, a guiding flap 19 attached to the bucket serving both to penetrate the material at 4 and to guide it to the shoot at 3.
