Junction-pieces.-In a steam heating-installation having a distributor fitting A for each radiator, the fitting is in the form of a casting having two connecting nipples a<2>, a<3> and the bore of the fitting is reduced from the forward nipple a<2> to the rear nipple a<3>, whereby a reduction in steam pressure occurs in the fitting which assists the circulation through the radiator. The passages a, a<1> through the nipples are preferably curved so as to receive or discharge the branch stream from or into the direction of the main flow, and the rear portion a<4> of the forward nipple may project slightly into the bore nf the fitting.
