Abstract

193,795. Marshall, W. E., and Mc- Culloch, P. G. P. April 27, 1922. Vehicle lamps.-In electric lamps for vehicles &c., a closely-coiled filament A<1> is disposed symmetrically around the focus of a reflector E, and the lamp casing C is closed at the front by a glass F having an airtight connection H therewith, and the interior of the lamp is exhausted or filled with an inert gas, a nipple J being provided for this purpose. A small area at the centre of the glass F is roughened or obscured to stop divergent rays from the centre of the lamp.
