Abstract
193,413. Naamlooze Vennootschap Philips' Gloeilampenfabrieken. Feb. 17, 1922, [Convention date]. Holders; caps.-To render electric lamp bulbs useless alter being removed from a holder, they are provided with caps comprising two parts 2, 3. loosely screwed together, one part being rigidly connected to the bulb and each part. being connected to one of the leading-in wires 14, 15. If the bulb is removed from the holder, the part 2 of the cap remains in the holder and the leading-in wire 14 is broken. Stops 9, 10 prevent the parts 2, 3 from being screwed tightly together. Vibration of the bulb in the holder is prevented by a helical spring 6 loosely wound on a core 7 and inserted into a groove in the holder so as to bear against the cap.
