Abstract
193,125. Gulline, H. L., and Hyde, J. Nov. 14, 1921. Calendars.-A monthly calendar comprises a face plate b having a partially detached portion c on which the date figures are inscribed a disc e marked with the day-names projecting beyond the inner periphery of the portion c and relatively adjustable thereto by means of an arm s and pin p working in a slot in a back portion k, a month name-disc f visible through an aperture in the face plate b, and an adjustable pointer g for indicating the current date. An adjustable screen i mounted on a centrally pivoted arm h is provided to cover the redundant date figures. The pins o and p for adjusting the screen i and disc are braced in their slots q, r by means of springs o<3>, p<1> ant washers o<4>, p<2> respectively. The month-name disc and the pointer g are adjusted by turn button; 3, 2, respectively; these buttons are rotatable or a pin 4 and are held together to yieldingly suppor the plates and discs by a spring 8 located in the socket 6 of the button 3. The front is protected by a celluloid cover n which is clamped to the face plate and back portion by an annular frame 3( having an inwardly extending flange 31 and a wire ring or filler 33 clamped in position by pressing ir the flange portion 32. The back portion may be of sheet metal and be provided with a turned in re taining flange.
