Abstract
192,537. Stoll, L., and Sembusto Elastische Radbereifungen Ges. Nov. 28, 1921. Spring wheels comprise an inner ring 1 to which are bolted a number of frames 2, the frames and the ring 1 forming a seating for elastic bodies 3 which contact directly with the face of the ring. The outer ends of the bodies 3 are held between flanges 5 of an outer ring 4 and radial branches 6 of two separated angle-irons 7 which are bolted to the ring 4 between the flanges 5. The inner walls of the ribs 5 are curved and bevelled, and the branches 6 of the angle-irons may be curved to a horn shape. An outer elastic tread is fitted. In a modification the outer ring is replaced by two spaced rings connected by staypieces, preferably of aluminium, and transverse bolts.
