Abstract

192,241. Nute, A. E. Dec. 5, 1921. Apparatus fitted to elevators.-In a weighing-apparatus for use with an elevator for grain or the like, the grain after being delivered to the weighing- hopper is adapted to be passed into bags or to be delivered in bulk. The elevator delivers the grain into hoppers 1, 2, from which it passes into weighing-hoppers 3, 4, and from these by way of spouts 5, 6 into bags b or in bulk to shoots 7. When it is desired to deliver the grain in bulk the tops 8 of the shoots are opened, the grain being directed to the elevator 11, from which it is discharged into a delivery shoot 12.
