Buildings, vehicles, and the like, cleaning.- An apparatus for use in cleaning the running- gear and other parts of locomotives and similar greasy surfaces, by the process described in Specification' 10,139/15, comprises an oil-container 1 filled preferably through a pipe 3 having a funnel 4 and valve 5, a pipe 7 conveying warm water under pressure to a nozzle 9, a branch 8 from the water-pipe to the bottom of the oil-container, and a small-bore pipe 11 through which the oil is forced from the container to the jet of warm water issuing from the nozzle 9. The stream of oil and water flows through a hose-pipe 10 to any suitable spraying- device. A valve 12 with a dial or pointer is fitted to the pipe 11, which extends into the pipe 10 at right-angles to, and as far as, the inner edge of the nozzle 9, as shown. The apparatus is intended as an alternative to that described in Specification 14,934/15, [Class 69 (iii), Spray-producers &c.].
