Abstract

14,228. Casablancas, F. April 14, [Conrention date]. Rollers and roller heads.-Comprises improvements on the inventions described in Specifications 12,477/12, 11,613/13, 19,372/14, and 3367/15. The guide-rollers 1, 2 are either fixed or rotary, and are slightly separated from one another, so that by arranging that the straps 7, 8 shall be somewhat slack, they will have a certain freedom of movement dependent on their rigidity. The straps may be caused more completely to grip the rollers 5, 6 by providing outer guide rods or rollers 9, 10, the guide rods or rollers 1, 2 being dispensed with if desired, as shown in Fig. 3; or, if the rigidity of one strap is greater than that of the other, one of the guide rods or rollers may be dispensed with, as shown in Fig. 4. Suitable means for mounting the various rollers are described.
