Body-armour.-Helmets and shields are formed of inner and outer domes a, b respectively, the outer dome being rotatable on the inner by means of a central or peripheral ball race a<1>. A third dome may be spring supported on the dome b, and this and the dome b may be fluted as shown at b<2>. The Figure shows a helmet padded at f. The shield is made flatter.
