Abstract

12,566. Pammenter, F. C. Sept. 1. Tripod stands.-The music rest and the foot of a music stand are constructed so as to fold up and be placed inside a tubular case which, together with a telescopic extension, forms the upright of the stand. The foot comprises a number of legs 7 pivoted to lugs on a plug 5 so that they can be folded together and placed inside the telescopic extension 2. The plug is secured in position by a clamping-nut 6 engaging a screw secured to the plug and engaging an open-ended slot in the telescopic extension 2.
