Pumps, syringes, and like appliances.-A saliva ejector comprises two perforated tubes c, d arranged to lie on either side of the teeth and connected by an arched member f. The outer tube is continuous with a hollow stem a, provided with a handle b and connected to a pump, ejector, &c., by a flexible tube. A tongue guard k may be attached to the inner tube d. Instruments may be constructed for the left and right sides of the mouth respectively, or, according to the Provisional Specification, which also mentions several arched connexions between the inner and outer tubes, for the centre of a jaw.
