Projectiles.-Consists in making an incendiary projectile with a bursting-charge 3 and a number of metal cases 7 filled with a substance, such as that sold under the registered trade mark " thermit," which burns with an intense heat. The space between the cases is filled with an inflammable composition, which may also be illuminating, such as a mixture of black-powder and iron filings.
