Regulation, automatic systems for.-An inductance, the choking action of which increases when the current becomes abnormal, is placed in the shorter of two parallel feeders. It is preferably constructed so that its normal choking action can be adjusted by hand, and consists of two relatively movable coils with a common magnetic circuit. One of the coils is short-circuited, or the two coils are oppositely wound and connected in series or parallel.
