9564. Perez, C. N. June 30, 1914, [Convention date]. Adhesives for dry-mounting consist of water, gum-lac, alkalis or alkali salts, and glycerine. The alkali compounds mentioned are borax, and sodium, potassium, and ammonium carbonates- and hydrates. A preservative, such as formaldehyde or salicylic acid, may be added. The product may be prepared in the form of cream for application with a brush, or of a liquid for coating by dipping. Suitable proportions are mentioned.
