Piston packing. - In packing for the piston of an explosion engine, of the type comprising superposed split rings a, b having tapered lips and mounted by thick flanges in a groove in the piston, the adhesion of the rings to one another is prevented by holes e in the ring a having sharp edges, which are intended to act as scrapers for preventing carbonized matter from adhering between the packing-rings.
