6948. Ralph, A. E. May 10. Motor-cycles and the like.-The wheel K of a motor-bicycle side-car is driven through a plate clutch in the hub G of the rear wheel of the bicycle and gearing E, D, W. The gearing is automatically disconnected from the hub when rounding corners by disconnecting the clutch by means of the members H, T, V, &c. The member H is connected with a longitudinally movable rod Y, Fig. 3, carrying a wheel Q which contacts with one of the wheels X, X on the crown of the steering-fork when this fork is turned to round a corner.
