Abstract
5050. Zimmerman, A. & J., and Walter, R. N. April 1. Card and like stands.- A supporting - strut is detachably secured to a photograph or like frame by a hinge secured to the strut and adapted to be slid endways into interlocking engagement with a fitting on the photograph frame. As shown in Fig. 2, the strut a carries a hinge c, one flap of which slides endways into the channel of a plate d and is held therein by the interengaging groove c' and tongue d'. In a modification, a tongue or enlargement on the edge of the free flap of the hinge engages a groove or enlargement at the bottom of the channel of the plate d.
