Turning crank-pins. - Eccenbrically rotatmg work, such as a crank-pin, is turned by a tool in a lever rest G carried by a slide reciprocated by a crank-pin A rotating synchronously with the work. The lever is geared to maintain parallelism with the connecting-rod. The centres of the pins A, B, C and of the eccentric part of the work form the corners of a parallelogram.
