Abstract
4677. Burnett, A. J. H., and Hutchinson, G. W. Grice-. July 18, 1914. Transfer mechanism for use with a cash register comprises a hub extension 31 on the wheel 32 of lower denomination carrying a pin 33, which engages a slot 34 in a loose disk 35. This disk has a tail 42 and a chamfered pin 35, and coacts with a fixed disk, Fig. 5, provided with a gap, which allows the tail 42 to be pressed axially by a spring 37 to engage the pin-wheel 40 of the higher denomination when transfer occurs. The parts are reset by the cam action of the chamfered pin 41.
