[Addition to 21,925/13.] Fermenting; yeast.-In collecting and pressing yeast from fermenting-vats as described in the parent Specification, the yeast is preserved by washing it with cold water..The wash-water may be passed through the yeast in the filterpress, or the cakes of yeast may be removed, the yeast mixed with water, and the mixture passed through the filter-press.
