Hammocks.-A collapsible support for a hammock comprises a pair of frames a<1>, a<2>, a<3> and b<1>, b<2>, b<3> the end members of which are detachably connected together by fittings d<4>, d<4Î>, while the members of each frame are detachably connected together at an obtuse angle by fittings a', a<5>, b<4>, b<5>. A hammock is slung from hooks on the fittings d', d<4Î>. In another form, the members of each frame are connected by stop-hinges a<6>, a'. The terminal fittings may support a cover for the hammock fitted with a cord by which the occupant may draw it.
