Abstract

18,591. Panario, T. W. Aug. 12. Actuating; lift valves.-Screw-down valves are provided with a ball-shaped knob or handle having a smooth exterior, the parts N, L being connected together as shown and loosely mounted on a ring K secured to the upper part of the valve casing. The handle has an internally screw-threaded member N<1> which engages a screwed spindle I of the valve member E, rotation of the valve being prevented, during operation, by projections engaging slots J, J'. A cap-leather H is arranged beneath the actuating- means to prevent access of water thereto. Specifications 10,547/96 and 29,016/13 are referred to.
