Inking-apparatus.-An infusible resilient composition for printers' inking-rollers is made by adding hexamethylenetetramine to a mixture of soaked glue and glycerine, and moulding in moulds kept heated for some time. The soaked glue is mixed with the usual proportion of glycerine and melted, and a concentrated solution of hexamethylenetetramine is added in the proportion of about 1 to 400, or between 0À2 and 1 per cent. The mixture is run quickly into the moulds, and these are kept heated for some time. Specifications 27,090/04, [Class 70, India-rubber &c.], 27,616/06, 23,264/08, and 8318/11, [both in Class 70, India-rubber &c.], are referred to.
