Cam gears.-Means for imparting an oscillating and reciprocating movement to pistons and piston - valves comprises a slotted member 4 which embraces the crank-pin and is connected to or formed integral with the piston or valve. The member 4 is curved in a plane at rightangles to the axis of the piston or valve, and is engaged by guides 6 carried by the crank-pin block 5.
