Abstract

10,372. Henrickson, O. April 27. Rivet and like extractors.-A pipe and bolt puller or extractor is provided with a rockable gripping-member 14 slidable in a recess 15 in the foot of the tool, in which it is retained by a pin 16 passing through an elongated slot 17 in the gripping-member, the rear end of the member being adapted to engage the rear wall of the recess so that no strain is placed upon the pin 16. A spring 18 normally presses the gripping-member into engagement with the bolt or pipe. The opposite gripping-member 19 is slidably adjustable by means of a screw 22 for various sizes of bolts or pipes.
