Abstract

10,076. Cooch, H. April 23. Endless belt conveyers with slat and lath carriers.-A conveyer band, more especially for use with a potato-sorting machine, is formed from metal laths A each having a hollow central rib B and slots C for links D connecting the laths together. The laths are spaced apart to allow dirt &c. to fall through and pass over end sprockets E on shafts F. Each sprocket is square with rounded corners, and has in the centre of each face a tooth G which is adapted to engage the hollow ribs of the laths.
