Railway locomotives, steam. - The steam receiver containing the steam regulator valve is made separate from the boiler and connected therewith through one or more pipes. The steam receiver I rests upon the boiler shell and is connected by a pipe B to a perforated pipe M in the boiler steam space. The receiver may be provided with an automatically operated valve for discharging water. A boiler may be provided with several steam receivers containing valves operated either simultaneously or independently.
