9371. McIntosh, T. R. April 15. Fixed - bucket elevators; feeding - devices.- Relates to a bucket elevator of the kind in which one end of one bucket overlaps one end of an adjacent bucket, and consists in so arranging the buckets, which are attached to an endless belt, that no material falls on to the belt, and the material may be fed to the elevator by means of a shoot. The buckets a are attached to the belt b, and the lips c lie imme- .diately over the rear of the preceding bucket. The feeding-shoot f is restricted at the outlet and is provided with a flexible flap or wiper e which rides on the surfaces of the buckets.
