Feeding-devices for endless-band conveyers and elevators.-A conveyer or elevator C is fed by a rotary mechanical shovel mounted on the shaft B of the drum c. The shovel comprises a series of scoops A symmetrically arranged around the shaft and extended into ducts a<3> delivering the material axially. Shovels may be arranged at each end of the shaft B, the scoops of one shovel being opposite the spaces between the scoops of the other shovel. Two shovels may be joined together and conveyers arranged on either side. The scoops have inclined edges a' to facilitate entry into the material.
