Identification marks and the like, producing on negatives by exposure.-A camera is so constructed that designation marks can be formed and lightprinted on the film or other sensitized element from the back. In the back of the camera is an opening 20 normally closed by a spring-hinged cover 21, which is opened to enable the designation to be marked by means of a stylus &c. on an opaque covering 24 on the back of the film 4, whereby opaque matter is removed at the parts touched by the stylus, and the designation is formed on the film by exposure from the back. The opaque cover 24 is of the kind described in Specification 9005/14. The film, while being marked, is supported by a plate 7, which is provided with rollers 11 to facilitate the passage of the film over the plate.
