4374. Stacey, F. Feb. 20. Drawings to Specification. Roller mills. - Consists in forming finelygrooved flour-milling rolls with both longitudinal and circumferential grooves. The longitudinal groovings may be parallel to the axis, slightly inclined to the axis, or wavy, and the circumferential groovings may be at right-angles to the axis, or formed by a slow-pitch spiral groove. A pair of such rolls may be used, or one may be employed with a roll having only either longitudinal or circumferential grooves. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 15,944/84 and 418/98.
