Operating doors by chain and cord arrangements, by weight, and by movement of interconnected door.- A pair of mine doors are connected so that the opening of one door closes the other, thus forming an air-lock. The doors D, which are hinged to bulkheads B so as to open in the same direction, are connected by a wire or cord 1 passing over guidepulleys 7, 8 between the door, through a hole 9 in one of the bulkheads, and over a pulley 6 as shown. A weight 5 on the cord may be provided to cause both doors to be normally closed,
