Doors.-A closure or door 4 mounted on hinges 2, 3 of the shape shown has, fitted along the hinged edge, a wedge or wedges 6, which are attached to a sliding angle-iron 5, and may be driven, in a direction parallel to the axis of the hingepin, between the hinge part 2 and the edge of the door, so as to close it tightly against the door seat. The part 3 of the hinge ha.s a heel 7, Fig. 2, which enters a, slot 7<a> in the angle-iron 5 and serves to secure and guide it.
