Abstract

123. Svenska Ackumulator Aktiebolaget Jungner. Jan. 16, 1913, [Convention date]. Gas exits for alkaline and other accumulators. A receptacle b to take the overflow during charging from a cell which is only large enough to hold the working electrolyte is attached removably to the cell by a downwardly tapering mouthpiece c with an upwardly tapering bore. The receptacle may be cup-shaped, and may contain glass wool, rubber sponge, etc.; several receptacles may be grouped with a handle d, Fig. 3, in common for application to a set of cells. In a modification, Fig. 2, the receptacle b is collapsible, for instance it may be made of rubber. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a) states also that the receptacle may be (1) a long tube in the vent-hole, (2) a single or divided cup connected by flexible tubing to the cell or cells. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
