Joints between box bottoms and bodies.-Electric battery containers of ebonite, celluloid &c. are provided with a bottom disc c which is cemented to the inside of a flange b formed by folding, spinning or bending the lower edge d of the cell walls. The joint may be strengthened by rings fitting within the cell above the bottom disc.
