Abstract
28,886. Souhami, L. J. C. Dec. 15. Stop-gear.-The liquid-fuel supply to the carburettor of an internal-combustion engine is stopped on the failure of the lubricant supply. A piston G, which carries an arm I, is acted upon on one side by a spring J and on the other side by the pressure of the lubricant. When the pressure of the lubricant falls, the spring depresses the piston and closes the needle valve of the carburettor.
