Transporting boats across ship decks.-Relates to apparatus such as is described in Specification 13,777/12, in which the boats are mounted on cradles running on a pair of thwartship rails. In order that both ends of the boat shall simultaneously arrive at the ship's side at the bow and stern of the ship where the sides are not parallel, the rails at these parts are bent to arcs of concentric circles. The carriage wheels running on the longer rail are larger than those fitted on the other end of the cradle.
