Knee-caps; knee trusses or supports. -A knee support or bandage comprises a blank a of leather &c., shaped by cutting out portions a<3>, a<4>, a<5> and then re-joining the edges, and provided with apertures d, e extending when in position to the back and sides of the knee joint so as to permit of bending without the formation of creases. Flexible springs b consisting of interlooped flattened coils of wire are attached to the support at each side of the knee-cap and along one of the meeting edges. The support is lined with woollen material f, is fastened in place by straps and buckles, and may be perforated, as shown at i, for ventilation.
