Abstract

Dark slides.-Relates to dark slides of the type which have a slot c, Fig. 1, for transferring the plate d in daylight to the developing- dish, this slot c being normally closed by the end h<1> of a plate h. According to the present invention, the plate h is pivotally mounted at the other end in a groove and is held in position to close the slot by a spring m secured to the plate and to the back of the dark slide. The end h<1> rests in a groove covered with velvet &c. to exclude light. The plate h is retracted to transfer the exposed negative by a sliding button l, which retracts the spring m and itself slides along a groove n in the back of the dark slide.
