Abstract
24,166. Rabenschlag, C., and Adrian & Rode. Oct. 24. Pistols fitted with detonating devices.-A toy pistol firing an explosive stopper has its muzzle closed by a cap or stopper to prevent the expulsion of the projectile, means being provided for the escape of the explosion gases. Fig. 2 shows the muzzle closed by a perforate bayonet-joint stopper b. Fig. 5 shows an imperforate stopper, a channel m being provided for the gases. In all cases, insertion of the cap or stopper forces the explosion stopper c against the action of a spring h into firing position, so that unless the muzzle is closed the firing-pin f does not reach the explosion stopper when the trigger is pulled.
