Gyroscopic apparatus. - A gyroscopic pendulum for controlling the balancing - planes of an aeroplane or submarine vessel consists of a casing 20 containing a battery 20<1> and an electric motor 21. A pinion 26 on the motor shaft gears with pinions 27 on the shafts of gyroscope wheels 28. The casing is secured to a shaft 17 carried in bearings on a frame 16 pivoted on transverse bearings.
