Reversing-gearing. - In bevel reversing-gearing for cranes, bevel-wheels B, C gearing with the driven wheel D are mounted on the hubs of clutch disks F, G secured to the driving- shaft A. By means of a sliding-sleeve J and thrust bearing L, the metal facings I on the wheels B, C are moved into clutching engagement with surfaces H of ' ferrodo ' and the like on the disks F, G.
