Self-driving plant.-Relates to a self-driving arrangement for a motor-car, of the kind in which engines are driven by compressed air from a storage cylinder, the supply of air in the cylinder being replenished by pumps operated by the engines. The rear wheels 1 of the vehicle are driven by engines 30 to which compressed air is supplied from a cylinder 5 A crank-shaft 31, parallel with the axle 4, is driven thereby through clutches 6 and suitable gearing such as chain and sprocket gears. The shaft 31, the driving of which is assisted by engines 33, also worked by compressed air actuates air-compressors 32, which pump air into the cylinder 5.
