Vaporizing by heat.- Apparatus for producing herb vapour for sweating-baths &c. comprises a closed chamber a provided with a strainer g for carrying the herbs and a second movable and adjustable strainer i held in position by spring clips m for the purpose of preventing the herb from rising and clogging the outlet k The steam enters below the strainer g by the pipe d, and, after passing through the herbs, carries the extracted vapours through the outlet k to the bath &c. The clips m serve as stops for the cover c of the boiler; and as handles for lifting the strainer out of the chamber.
