13,408. Humphreys, D. June 10. Disinfecting.-Woollen cloth, after washing. is treated with a 1 per cent solution of phenol or other suitable coal-tar derivative at a temperature of 100-120‹ F. while being passed between heavy rollers; it is then dried, and is finally sprayed with thymol.
