Disinfecting; antiseptics.-Fabrics or articles such as blankets, flannels, stockings, body belts, &c. are rendered antiseptic by immersion in a solution of thymol and oil of gaultheria in water, drying, finishing if necessary in the usual manner, treatment in a hot-air chamber, spraying with a solution of formaldehyde, and finally drying. The spraying may take place in the hot-air chamber.
