12,377. British Thomson-Houston Co., [General Electric Co.]. May 27. Boron nitride in a form stable towards hot water is obtained by heating ordinary boron nitride to about 2000‹ C. The nitride may be obtained, for instance, by passing ammonia over boric anhydride or by treating boric anhydride with magnesium as described in Specification 21,865/12.
