Abstract

17,438. Brown, W. Dec. 13. Sealing.-Slow-combustion material, such as that used in the manufacture of fusee matches. is arranged in contact with sealing-material and is so proportioned thereto as to melt the sealing-material without causing it to flame, the combustion material remaining hot enough and firmly enough attached to the holder to allow of its being used for shaping and finishing off the seal. An igniting-tip may be provided.
